Between worlds

2026

'Landscape is not just 'matter' — it’s alive.

...

It recalls you into a mindful mode of stillness, solitude

and silence, where you can truly receive time.'

John O'Donohue

Landscapes have always felt deeply connected to my inner worlds.

I am mesmerised by their liminal and physical dimensions; how they rewrite our internal geography and guide us towards deeper, ancient energies. How, when we slow down and observe them, they grant us gifts of seeing beyond their physical form

As I live within landscapes, so too they live through me. I am an instrument of their quiet power, seeking the light within their delicate dimensions. To be within their light is an act of restoration and devotion – a place of peace and knowing, a way of calling in the spirits and returning home.

Between worlds is my meditation on a recent return to Greece, my ancestral home. Among its ancient landscapes, my spirit was gently reawakened. I felt a profound and humbling presence within their light, alive with memory, spirit and myth. Something deeply familiar whispered: I’m home.

These works are my odes to those living spaces, carried across oceans and composed in the sanctuary of my Sydney studio. Suspended in the quiet horizons of my homes, where layers draw one into the space between worlds – a gentle tension both playful and still.

Within each is a multi-dimensional quality that moves with the changing light, offering glimpses of the sacred and divine. Light beacons emanate from the rock church of holy Kalymnos, where the light reveals what has always been and continues to be. Characters surface from the rocky shadows of Patmos, only to disappear again. The stories in this rich, rare earth are living and eternal.

I invite you to pause with me between these worlds – to find a mindful space to breathe, to reflect on home and the landscapes to which we belong.
